Sanitation Manager | 1st Shift

As the Sanitation Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our meat processing facility. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sanitation protocols, training and supervising sanitation staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Description


  1. Sanitation Program Development:


    • Develop and implement comprehensive sanitation programs to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of all processing areas.
    • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sanitation processes.
  2. Team Leadership and Training:


    • Recruit, train, and manage a skilled sanitation team.
    • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff is well-versed in sanitation procedures and safety protocols.
  3. Compliance and Regulation:


    • Stay abreast of relevant regulations and standards, including those set by local health authorities and regulatory agencies.
    • Ensure that the facility complies with all sanitation-related regulations and guidelines.
  4. Inspections and Audits:


    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the effectiveness of sanitation processes.
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  5. Chemical Management:


    • Manage and oversee the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
    • Ensure that all cleaning agents and sanitizers are used in accordance with safety guidelines.
  6. Continuous Improvement:


    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in sanitation practices.
    • Implement measures to enhance overall sanitation effectiveness and reduce waste.


Profile


  • 5
    years of Sanitation Management experience in a food manufacturing facility; USDA EXPERIENCE is highly desired
  • Bilingual Spanish is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sanitation management within the food or meat processing industry.
  • Thorough understanding of sanitation best practices, HACCP principles, and food safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

This role will be on-site Monday-Saturday for the first few months.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
