Our Client located near Norwalk, CA is looking for a Senior Web Application Developer for a 12 month minimum contract job that will be responsible for performing functions related to WEB development using languages such as VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript and others. This candidate will be an integral part of the continued development of our cloud-based application. From development work to support to maintenance to database work, this is a highly sought after position that will offer continued growth opportunities.

Job Description:
Develop and unit test large distributed applications
Contribute to and lead planning on technical architecture, process flow, Ul, and external component integration design
Take responsibility for specific product components and ensure that on-time technical design, development and unit testing is achieved
Have strong pride of ownership
Quickly understand and become productive on an existing system
Participate in regular code reviews with peers and development managers
Support software application issues, which also may include hardware
Perform application maintenance on cloud based applications
Troubleshoot software, reports, stored procedures, and database issues
REQUIRED SKILLS:

years object-oriented analysis, design, and development experience using VB.NET or C#
Ability to work as part of a team
6
years of SQL knowledge and experience developing stored procedures and functions
6
years ASP.NET experience
6
years experience in VB.NET, C# and Java Script
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience developing and/or designing large web applications
Experience with healthcare applications or business processes
DESIRED SKILLS:
Linux, Apache, Oracle sys-admin.
Web and database security.
REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING CERTIFICATIONS):
BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred or equivalent experience
